KUALA LUMPUR – As Hari Raya Aidilfitri approaches, players and coaches in the Super League will be enjoying some well-deserved rest time during the holidays.
Speaking to The Vibes, Perak FC defender Raja Imran Shah Raja Amin said he is looking forward to the celebrations this festive season.
“Raya is always a time to be with family and friends while enjoying good food together and having a great time.
“It’s a chance for everyone to get together after a long time being away from one another.
“I hope everyone gets to their destination safely when they balik kampung. Wishing everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri,” he said.
Meanwhile for Ivorian forward Tchetche Kipre, the delicious spreads of Hari Raya dishes reminds him of the food back home in Ivory Coast.

Kuala Lumpur City FC (KL City FC) being far from home, he does not turn down an invitation to attend Raya open houses.
“Usually I don’t celebrate too much, but I am very happy for those who are celebrating because they get to enjoy the moments with their families.
“I have some friends who have invited me to their house, even some staff from the club as well. We are all friends here and I love to try their food.
“It makes me miss food from my home sometimes, but that is life. I just resort to ordering from my favourite restaurants when I am craving for it,” he said.
The 35-year-old has grown accustomed to the festivities in Malaysia, having played for Terengganu FC and Kedah Darul Aman FC since 2017.
Meanwhile, the City Boys’ head coach Bojan Hodak kept his Hari Raya wishes short and sweet.
“Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to everybody. Hope you have a good holiday.
“Have a good time and remember to drive safely and slowly,” he said.
The Super League will return on April 26 as Johor Darul Ta’zim FC take on Kelantan United, while Sabah face Selangor and KL City play PDRM on April 27. – The Vibes, April 23, 2023
