After more than a year of trying to curb the spread of Covid-19 in this country, frontline workers are now receiving their vaccine jabs in stages.

Today, some Hospital Kuala Lumpur staff received their vaccine shots through the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

They consist of doctors and nurses; pharmacists, administration staff and non-clinical support staff.

Phase 1 started on February 24 and is expected to take place in 532 vaccination centres across the country.
