KUALA LUMPUR – An Indonesian cargo plane skidded off the runway yesterday upon landing at a Jakarta airport, reported Bloomberg.
The plane had made the hard landing when returning to base shortly after take-off due to a technical issue.
Trigana Air’s Boeing 737-400 returned to Halim Perdanakusumah Airport about two minutes after take-off yesterday, AirNav spokesman Yohanes Harry Douglas Sirait was quoted as saying.

After the incident, as the plane was blocking the runway, several flights were diverted to Soekarno Hatta Airport in Banten, West Java.
