Woman confesses to killing 3 daughters, say Austria cops

VIENNA – A woman today confessed to killing her three young daughters in an apartment here, said Austrian police, without giving a motive.

The 31-year-old called the emergency services in the early hours, saying she wanted to kill herself.

When officers turned up, they found the bodies of an 8-month-old baby and a 3-year-old girl.

The woman’s 9-year-old daughter was taken to hospital, but was unable to be saved, said police, adding that the mother had light injuries herself.

According to local media, the three girls were suffocated. – AFP, October 17, 2020
