SUN Life Malaysia, a life insurance and family takaful company, announced recently that it has been certified as a “Great Place To Work” (GPTW) company for 2023.
The accolade was bestowed by the Great Place To Work Institute Inc., a globally recognised authority on workplace culture.
The decision was based on its employees’ feedback encompassing various aspects, including employee experience, leadership excellence, workplace safety, and more, using GPTW’s globally recognised Trust Index Survey and Culture Brief assessment.
Chief Executive Officer and President/Country Head of Sun Life Malaysia Raymond Lew said this marked the first time the company had earned this prestigious recognition after over 90% of its employees expressed satisfaction with their working environment.
The results showed that 94% of employees deemed Sun Life Malaysia a safe workplace, 92% felt warmly welcomed, and 93% expressed confidence in management’s competency.
“The recognition carries additional significance as this year marks the company’s 10th-anniversary celebration,” said Lew.
Lew expressed gratitude to Sun Life Malaysia’s dedicated employees whose unwavering commitment played an instrumental role in the company’s continued growth over the past decade.
“Looking ahead, the company is determined to enhance the workplace environment further, with the focus remaining on placing people at the centre, creating exceptional experiences that boost productivity, career confidence, and engagement,” he added.
