MATRIX Concepts Holdings Bhd (Matrix Concepts) was recently honoured with The Edge Billion Ringgit Club (BRC) 2024 award for highest return on equity (ROE) over three years in the under RM3 billion real estate market capitalisation category.

Its chief executive officer Chai Keng Wai said the accolade marked another significant milestone in Matrix Concepts’s journey of excellence and sustainable growth within Malaysia’s corporate landscape.

“The award underscores the company’s steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional value to its stakeholders, maintaining robust financial performance, and exemplifying superior corporate governance practices.

“This recognition places Matrix Concepts among the crème de la crème of Malaysian public-listed companies, affirming its leadership and innovative approach in the property development sector,” he said.

He said being recognised by The Edge Billion Ringgit Club was a tremendous honour and a testament to the entire team’s dedication and hard work.

“This award celebrates our financial resilience and strategic initiatives and reinforces our commitment to building quality developments that contribute meaningfully to the communities we serve.

“We are humbled to stand among Malaysia’s top companies and are inspired to continue striving for even greater success,” he added.

The Edge Billion Ringgit Club, established in 2010, serves as a prestigious platform to recognise Malaysia’s top-performing public-listed companies with a market capitalisation of at least RM1 billion.

The awards are bestowed based on a rigorous assessment of the financial performance of companies over the past three years, with an emphasis on consistent growth, profitability, and return on equity.

The BRC awards also acknowledge companies that demonstrate excellence in corporate social responsibility and governance, thereby setting a benchmark for corporate excellence in Malaysia. – September 2, 2024.
