KUALA LUMPUR – Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) has clinched an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract worth RM13.28 million under the Daif School Redevelopment Project in Sarawak.
The Kuching-based construction firm, which also makes precast concrete products, said wholly-owned subsidiary SCIB Industrialised Building System Sdn Bhd yesterday accepted a letter of award and acceptance from the state’s Public Works Department.
The contract, which involves two schools in Sibu, would span from October 27, 2021 until June 16, 2022, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
SCIB said the contract was not expected to have any material effect on the group’s net assets for the financial year ending June 30, 2022. – Bernama, October 14, 2021
