TAKEN at the Sepang International Circuit during the GT World Challenge Asia 2022, this sweet moment was captured when Triple Eight JMR rider, Jazeman Jaafar celebrated the success of his teammate, Tunku Abu Bakar Sultan Ibrahim, who finished the race in second place.

To get this picture, I had to be prepared in every aspect for the important moments that come at the end of the race. This is because it all happens very fast and I have to make sure I am at the right place.

The difficulty for me at the moment is that there are many photographers and dignitaries in the crowd. Other photographers can be very aggressive when it comes to getting good pictures of their own. So, they sometimes inadvertently prevent me from taking pictures. For the dignitaries, there were times when I had to give space even though I might miss an interesting moment.

I love taking pictures in sports. Apart from the action, the emotional moments that come from winning or losing are also very interesting to capture. For this picture, the moment of joy is clearly visible. I myself smiled while taking this picture. – The Vibes, June 5, 2022
