KUALA LUMPUR – Muslims will see a muted Hari Raya Aidiladha tomorrow, with balik kampung hopes dashed due to soaring Covid-19 cases.

With the Aidilfitri celebration in May sparking coronavirus clusters arising from people heading back to their hometowns, it is likely there will be no repeat of travel curbs being violated on a large scale this time around.

Nevertheless, preparations for Aidiladha are under way, even if they are not as lively as in pre-pandemic days.
