KUALA LUMPUR – With Klang Valley and Putrajaya now in Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan, residents – after months of being cooped up indoors – are relieved by the relaxed Covid-19 restrictions.

Previously, Klang Valley folk were unable to visit Putrajaya without police permits and work passes.

This weekend saw recreational areas in Putrajaya, the nation’s administrative capital, filled with people enjoying the fresh air.

Dine-in curbs have also been lifted, with many restaurants opening up tables for fully vaccinated customers.

Some eatery owners told The Vibes that they need time before reopening to ensure all their workers have received both vaccine doses.

There are those who remain cautious about allowing dine-in patrons, however, and continue to provide only takeaway and delivery services for the time being.
