A video of the incident at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport on May 4 showing the aircraft being manoeuvred against heavy winds has gone viral.

In the video, the AirAsia Airbus A320 is seen battling powerful winds as it approaches the runway and is seen performing what is known in aviation as a crosswind landing, sometimes called “crabbing”.
