In the true spirit of Ramadan, FashionValet brings back FV Bazaar, a listing platform that welcomes merchants to list their business without a fee.
This year, FV Bazaar is going bigger and better with new additions of fashion vendors on top of food and beverage (F&B).
FV Bazaar will be held until mid-June this year for Malaysians to order their favourite Raya cookies and fashion finds across Malaysia. This time around, users and customers can expect to find a more seamless customer experience when navigating the site.
Last year, FV Bazaar had successfully listed more than 4,000 local home cooks, bakers, and F&B operators from various states on FashionValet at zero fees.
The initiative was launched to help boost the sales of local food vendors that had been heavily impacted by the movement control order (MCO).
FashionValet realised the challenge and took the opportunity to bridge the local food businesses with their customers by leveraging its daily high traffic.
This year, FashionValet is thrilled by the return of Haniem Bakes by Marsh & Mary with their Milo chocolate chip cookies, Turkish Delight with their authentic Turkish treats, while on the fashion front, Bokitta and Kapten Batik have signed on.
“If there’s one thing that we always look forward to during the fasting month, it’s the Ramadan bazaars – the food, drinks and not forgetting the baju Raya shopping! However, the past year has not been easy for many businesses due to the pandemic.
“When we started FV Bazaar last year, it was mainly focused on F&B, but this year we are opening the platform to fashion vendors as well,” says Aliesha Nadira, project manager of the FV Bazaar Project.
Following last year’s excitement and support by netizens, this is an initiative they want to continue to drive.
“Ramadan is and will always be a meaningful time to share our rezeki (provisions). Considering this, we are delighted to announce the return of FV Bazaar, adding fashion vendors into the mix! Last year, FashionValet opened up the site for local food businesses to list their food, for free, throughout Ramadan.
“As a result, some vendors received up to 100 orders a day and one vendor even sold 3,000 jars of cookies which helped her pay for her studies. Stories like these truly warm my heart and I'm so blessed to be able to share our platform with others,” said FashionValet co-founder Vivy Yusof.
FashionValet is calling all Malaysians to support local fashion and food businesses. From FashionValet’s site, shoppers will be led to FV Bazaar’s site where they can explore the variety of food and fashion options, view vendors’ menus, catalogues, and contact details.
Orders, transactions, and deliveries are managed and handled directly by the vendors, as FashionValet only acts as a listing platform. On top of that, the location of the vendors can be filtered based on customers’ location, nationwide. – The Vibes, April 9, 2021
