KUALA LUMPUR – Many of us may be relieved to know that hair salons can operate again. However, for some, getting a haircut is still a luxury as they have to count their ringgit and sen during these challenging times.

Recognising this, cut X dignity, a transformational enterprise operated by local NGO Dignity for Children Foundation (Dignity), is offering free haircuts to the public from tomorrow until September 5.

The move is a way for the NGO to give back to the community that has been supporting it throughout these trying times.

For 10 days, a team of three hairstylists (all fully vaccinated) will be offering free wash and haircuts to those who have booked their slots. The terms and conditions of the Free Haircut campaign are:

  • Kindly come on time for your appointment; slots will be forfeited after 20 minutes;
  • One-time claim;
  • Customers must be fully vaccinated and had received their second vaccination at least 14 days prior.

Those who would like to arrange for an appointment can contact cut X dignity at 018-233 5284 or 03-4041 1399. No walk-ins will be entertained.

Those who wish to contribute despite the free services being offered are welcome to pay it forward or make a contribution to cut X Dignity. All proceeds earned will be channelled towards Dignity’s food distribution efforts. – The Vibes, August 26, 2021
