IT'S time to shake off the dust and get ready to celebrate. KSK Land is bringing back the Joy of Raya with a vibrant outdoor installation spurred by the Malaysian spirit of muhibbah and community.
Dubbed Ketupat Wonderland, the transformed arcade at KSK’s headquarters aims to bring people together for a moment of shared camaraderie and festive joy, much like the inspiration of its striking design – the ketupat, a Hari Raya staple that always evokes a sense of home and comfort.
Here, the ubiquitous weave pattern of traditional coconut palm leaves is reimagined in bright, refreshing hues, alluding to exciting new possibilities and potential, and all the colours that may bring forth.
It is an ode to Malaysia as a confluence of many traditions and its rich heritage. At the same time, to bring together the best of worlds to create exciting new outcomes.
Joanne Kua, CEO of KSK Group and Managing Director of KSK Land shares, “The Joy of Raya for me transcends just the festivities and is really about the Malaysian community spirit, one that forges bonds and resonates across all cultures and faiths.
"The signature ketupat weave pattern reminds us that no matter how diverse our community may be, how different we are or how modern we have become, we are all interconnected to one another and our roots whenever and wherever we come together, and that is something to celebrate.”
“After two years of toned-down raya celebrations due to travel restrictions, we are delighted that all of us can celebrate together again, especially those who have recently returned home from abroad with the reopening of our borders.
