PETALING JAYA – With Tesla officially entering Malaysia, they started off with the Model Y in July.

The sports utility vehicle opened for orders with a price range of RM199,000 to RM288,000.

Many were eagerly awaiting for the release of the Model 3 sedan.

Tesla Malaysia today officially opened orders for the Model 3 with the launch of their first flagship experience centre in Malaysia.

Located at the Pavilion in Damansara Heights, the centre is now officially open to the public where visitors can explore the full Tesla vehicle line-up.

This includes the Model 3 and Model Y, alongside various Tesla charging solutions and merchandise.

In a statement, Tesla said the Model 3 is priced from RM189,000 and according to the company, is the world's best-selling electric sedan.

It is now available for order in both rear-wheel drive and long range versions, with deliveries to begin in late 2023.

The Model 3 features updated exterior styling optimised for maximum aerodynamics, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and offers a single-charge range of up to 629km.

The Model 3 cabin is said to be quieter than ever, thanks to the inclusion of 360-degree acoustic glass.

It also introduces new features such as ambient lighting, an immersive sound system (designed by Tesla with up to 17 speakers, dual subwoofers, and dual amplifiers), ventilated seats, an 8” second-row display, a redesigned centre console and new wheel options. – The Vibes, October 19, 2023
