MALAYSIA'S leading wholesaler AEON has announced a collaboration with Kewpie to bring a fresh variety of options to the AEON delicatessen range.

The collaboration was launched at AEON Mall Cheras Selatan, Selangor.

In a statement, AEON said it will introduce Kewpie's spicy chili-flavoured mayo to 10 of its product variations, including sushi, bakery items, and delica offerings.

Azidah Alimuddin, Head of Retail Delicatessen, Bakery & Food Processing Centre at AEON said they will continually strive to enhance the taste and quality of products at AEON delicatessen.

"We believe that this collaboration with Kewpie will offer something new and exciting for our customers.

"AEON is truly grateful for the opportunity to partner with such a well-regarded brand, known for its delicious mayonnaise and dressings," Azidah said.

Those who attended the launch were Kewpie Malaysia managing director Atsushi Miyata, its deputy managing director Shimpei Okada and sales director Soon Soo Choong. Those who represented AEON were its managing director Naoya Okada and chief merchandising and marketing officer Low Ngai Yuen.

Naoya said the collaboration is part of AEON’s ongoing efforts to engage with its community through diverse programmes and activities while celebrating AEON's 40th anniversary.

"I am so grateful as the company has thrived, achieved success, and developed over the years.

"AEON will definitely continue to give the best products and services to our customers and our stakeholders. We want to extend our sincere thanks to our customers and partners who have been with us," Naoya said.

AEON delicatessen currently features four brands: Coco Café, a cosy kopitiam-style eatery with a warm ambience; La Boheme, offering an array of oven-fresh breads, pastries, and puddings; La Boheme Coffee, known for its unique blend of beans from Brazil Cerrado, Colombia Huila, and Indonesia Sumatra; and the newly introduced Sucrée Amor that offers a variety of delicious desserts. – June 21, 2024.
