SABAH Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has praised Tun Musa Aman’s leadership, calling his tenure as the state’s longest-serving Chief Minister a crucial blueprint for progress.
Hajiji said the state stands to gain from his wealth of experience following his appointment as the Sabah governor.
“Tun Musa’s appointment is both timely and fitting. His years of service and contributions to Sabah are unmatched,” Hajiji said at the banquet honouring Musa’s appointment as Sabah's new governor at the Sabah International Convention Centre, Kota Kinabalu.
The chief minister highlighted Musa’s 15-year record in office as a solid foundation for advancing Sabah’s development.
“I am confident his leadership will elevate Sabah to greater heights,” he added.
Hajiji also credited Musa for fostering unity and harmony in the state, which are essential for Sabah’s growth.
“As Malaysia’s second-largest state, Sabah has tremendous potential with its rich natural resources and cultural diversity,” he said.
Calling for collective action, Hajiji urged leaders and citizens alike to work towards a more progressive and peaceful Sabah, guided by the Sabah Maju Jaya development plan.
“With the challenges ahead, including global economic uncertainties, we must strengthen cooperation across all sectors to ensure Sabah thrives,” he said.
