PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim presided over the inaugural meeting of the Malaysia MADANI Action Council (MTMM) for 2025 today, emphasising the government's commitment to advancing its key initiatives for the year.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page, Anwar described the MTMM as the country’s highest platform for setting critical policies and making key decisions on matters tied to the Malaysia MADANI Agenda’s implementation.

"Various matters were discussed with MTMM members regarding the strengthening and improvement of the governance of the MADANI Government, with a focus on enhancing efficiency in service delivery to the people," he said.

The prime minister revealed that any proposals or decisions made during the MTMM meeting will be carefully followed up by the Special Task Force on Agency Reform (STAR), which is headed by the Chief Secretary to the Government.

Anwar expressed his confidence that the collaboration between government agencies would be vital in ensuring the effective realisation of the agenda’s goals.

“I believe that well-coordinated efforts among government agencies will ensure that the targeted goals are achieved and yield more efficient results,” Anwar concluded. - March 5, 2025
