THE Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, have extended their Nuzul Al-Quran greetings to all Muslims, especially the people of the state.

Their Royal Highnesses said Nuzul Al-Quran was not only a historic occasion but also a reminder for all Muslims to delve deeper into and appreciate the teachings of the Quran in their daily lives.

“This date serves as a reminder for all Muslims to commemorate the great event of the first revelation from Allah SWT to Prophet Muhammad SAW, which became a divine guidance for all of humanity.

“May we strengthen our faith, deepen our devotion, and uphold justice and goodness in society through the reading and practice of the Quran,” said Their Royal Highnesses in a post on the Kesultanan Pahang Facebook page as reported by Bernama.

Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah also called on all Muslims to stand together in safeguarding the harmony and well-being of the country while praying for Allah SWT to bestow His mercy and blessings upon all.

Earlier, the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang attended the Pahang state-level Tadarus and Khatam al-Quran for Women, held this morning at the Darul Fikri Mosque in Bera.

The post stated that Tunku Azizah also joined around 1,000 women in reciting the Quran at the event, which was organised in conjunction with Nuzul Al-Quran tomorrow.

At the same event, Her Royal Highness handed out donations to 50 recipients, comprising the asnaf and orphans.- March 18, 2025
