THE National Information Dissemination Centre’s (NADI) ‘Bazar Raya’ is an initiative under the Smart Services NADI Programme plays a pivotal role in supporting the government’s efforts to empower entrepreneurship within local communities.
Organised by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), the initiative aligns with the government's aspiration to enhance business development, strengthen competitiveness, and improve the socio-economic well-being of local communities.
The Bazar Raya NADI aims to introduce and promote the NADI Smart Services Entrepreneurship Programme, a comprehensive platform offering training and guidance in entrepreneurship, while also encouraging more members of the community to join the programme.
In addition, the Bazar Raya NADI provides entrepreneurs with an opportunity to expand their market reach, forge potential collaborations, and strengthen business networks within the NADI entrepreneurial community.
MCMC, in a statement today, said entrepreneurs can market their products and introduce their businesses to the local community ahead of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
The launch of the Bazar Raya NADI was officiated by the Minister of Communications, Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, during a ceremony at NADI Sri Pantai, Kuala Lumpur.
The event was held simultaneously across 1,077 NADIs nationwide, involving the participation of more than 5,000 entrepreneurs.
A range of activities was organised at NADI Sri Pantai to engage the local community and empower entrepreneurs, including the MADANI KPDN Rahmah Sale, special-price chicken sales by PELADANG NAFAS, Agro MADANI sales by the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA), and a variety of Hari Raya products sold by NADI entrepreneurs.
The event also featured webinars and entrepreneurial sharing sessions with industry experts, online safety briefings, as well as registration sessions for new members and NADI entrepreneurs. – March 22, 2025
