FIREMEN were called in to rescue a young boy whose foot got stuck in a metal drain grate yesterday.
According to reports in The New Straits Times, the incident occurred about 4.30pm while the boy was playing near Jalan 2/15, Taman Sri Saujana in Kota Tinggi.
Photographs showed the boy, in a t-shirt and shorts sitting on the metal drain cover.
His right foot was trapped in the metal grate.
Firemen who arrived at the scene within 14 minutes used metal cutters to safely free the boy. - March 26, 2025
