SIX Form Four students have been remanded for six days after they were believed to have beaten a Form Three student to the point of injury.
Pasir Mas District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Kama Azural Mohamed, said based on the report made, the victim, who is also a male Form Three student, was allagedly punched, elbowed in the head and kicked.
All the male students were arrested at 2.55pm yesterday after the victim's father filed a police report that his son was beaten by a group of male students yesterday afternoon.
"One of the suspects also pulled the sports pants the victim was wearing up to his knees. As a result of the incident, the victim suffered a head injury and was traumatised from going to school because he was often harassed by the same suspect.
"Following a police report made by the victim's parents, the police arrested six male students for further investigations.
"The results of the initial investigation found that all six suspects who were arrested admitted to bullying the victim and all have been remanded for six days starting today," he said.
He said the case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code and Section 507B of the Penal Code.
It was earlier reported that a Form Three student was injured after he was believed to have been beaten, his pants pulled down and almost strangled with a wire by a group of students in an incident at a school in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, yesterday.
The incident, which was believed to have been orchestrated by six Form Four students at 12.45pm, was however noticed by a teacher who passed by at the time. - August 20, 2025
