A VIOLENT confrontation involving five women armed with household items such as a dustpan, broom, and dipper erupted in a Bukit Gambir housing estate yesterday morning.
The incident, which occurred at 7.39am, was captured on closed-circuit television (CCTV) and quickly went viral on social media.
Tangkak District Police Chief Superintendent Roslan Mohd Talib confirmed that police are aware of the footage and have launched a full investigation into the matter.
“Preliminary inquiries revealed that the brawl stemmed from a dispute between neighbours at the housing estate,” he said.
“All parties involved have been identified, and the investigation is being conducted under Section 148 of the Penal Code.”
Roslan emphasised the police’s commitment to maintaining public safety and order.
