POLICE have detained three men aged between 25 and 30 after the body of a woman was found naked and with her hands bound in a thicket near the Blue Water Estate roundabout.

Serdang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Muhamad Farid Ahmad, said the suspects would be remanded this morning.

The victim was identified by her immediate family, specifically her sibling, prior to a post-mortem examination.

“Further investigations are being carried out under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries the death penalty if convicted,” he said.

“Members of the public with information related to this case are urged to contact the nearest police station or the Serdang District Police Headquarters at 03-8074 2222.”

Earlier, New reports cited that the victim has since been identified as 24-year-old Sarah Suwathi, a Malaysian of mixed Chinese and Indian heritage, whose family had reported her missing on 24 October. - October 31, 2025
