GABUNGAN Rakyat Sabah (GRS) is leading in the 17th Sabah State Election (PRN), based on unofficial results as of 8.35pm.

According to initial information, GRS is firmly in control of several areas, with 21 seats ahead so far.

The seats are Banggi, Pitas, Pintasan, Tempasuk, Sulaman, Limbahau, Kawang, Pantai Manis, Membakut, Klias, Kuala Penyu, Kundasang, Karanaan, Paginatan, Kemabong, Sugut, Labuk, Sungai Manila, Kuamut, Apas, Balung and Tanjung Batu.

Meanwhile, Warisan is trailing with 12 seats, Barisan Nasional (BN) (8), Independent (2) and UPKO (1).
