THE Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed that its official website was compromised following a cyber intrusion that displayed a message believed to have been left by attackers, forcing the portal offline and triggering urgent recovery efforts.

The ministry said a detailed investigation is under way to determine the cause of the breach, while technical teams are working to restore the website as quickly as possible.

“The ministry takes this incident seriously and is working closely with relevant agencies to strengthen system security and prevent a recurrence,” it said.

In a Facebook post today, the ministry warned members of the public not to access [www.moh.gov.my](http://www.moh.gov.my), advising against clicking on suspicious links or downloading any files linked to the compromised site.

It also urged the public to rely on its verified social media platforms and other official channels for updates on health-related information during the outage.

“The ministry apologises for the inconvenience and will provide updates as recovery efforts continue,” it added.
