PAKATAN Harapan (PH) has finalised its manifesto for the Johor state election, with youth welfare expected to feature prominently when the document is unveiled by coalition chairman and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in the coming days.

PKR secretary-general Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh said the manifesto had been completed and would reflect the aspirations and priorities of Johor voters.

"'Soon', within the next day or two. Insya-Allah, it has been finalised. This manifesto will meet the needs of the people of Johor, including addressing youth welfare," she told reporters after a working visit to SDS Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Skudai on Tuesday.

Pressed for further details, Fuziah declined to elaborate, saying the full contents would be revealed during the official launch.

On speculation that Puteri Wangsa state seat candidate Dr Maszlee Malik could be PH's Menteri Besar candidate, Fuziah reiterated the coalition's position that it would not name a chief ministerial candidate before polling day.

"I don't think there's any need for us to announce it because in Johor, even if you announce someone, it doesn't necessarily mean that person will become Menteri Besar. What is important is that the person has a good track record," she said.

The Johor state election campaign is entering its final phase, with political parties intensifying efforts to win support ahead of polling day. - June 30, 2026
