PAKATAN Harapan (PH) claims to have won eight seats out of 56 State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seats in the 16th Johor State Election (PRN), as of 9.50 pm.

Director of PH PRN Johor Machinery, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, at a press conference at the PH Information Centre, said that one of the seats was by Maszlee Malik for the Puteri Wangsa DUN based on unofficial results of the Johor State Election (PRN) so far.

“The Election Commission (EC) has announced PH candidates for eight seats so far despite facing challenges throughout the campaign.

"So far, the eight involve six from DAP and one seat each from PKR and Amanah.

"We are still waiting for some certainty regarding seats involving DAP and PKR," he said.

Also present was Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) Communications Director Khalid Samad.

In the five-cornered race, Maszlee obtained 30,228 votes, followed by Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Teow Chia Ling with 26,654 votes.

The official results for all state assembly seats will be announced by the EC after the vote counting process is completed at the official counting centre. – July 11, 2026
