KUALA LUMPUR – After testing positive for Covid-19 on Sunday, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Economy) Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed today said he is in good health.
In a Facebook post, he said his temperature is normal and he no longer has a cough, but still has a hoarse voice.
Mustapa said that the emergency proclamation today is very important to fight Covid-19 and to ensure that the economy recovers.
“I hope MPs from the government and opposition will put the interest of the people above all else. The people need help.
“Stop politicking. Put political differences aside and focus on the people who desperately need help.”
The minister was admitted to Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kota Baru, Kelantan.
Meanwhile, he said he has received the best service from doctors, nurses and all hospital staff.
“For those who are being treated at quarantine centres and hospitals, they would understand the pressure felt by the healthcare workers across the country.
“As someone who is receiving treatment, I understand very much the prime minister’s message in his MCO address yesterday. For the sake of the country, this pandemic needs to be strictly handled.”
