MIRI – Human body parts, believed to be that of a crocodile attack victim, were found in Sg Kg Meranek in the Samarahan district today.
The body parts are believed to be that of a 29-year-old villager named Azyan Azhar, who went missing while fishing on Tuesday.
Sarawak's Fire and Rescue Department said the body parts – a leg and a thigh – were found about noon today.
The department said the man had gone missing on Tuesday about 4pm while casting fishing nets near Kg Meranek.
Rescue teams from the Samarahan Fire and Rescue Department carried out search operations after being alerted to the incident by the man's family.
