KUALA LUMPUR – Two men, including one known as “Bob Mah Sing”, who were arrested yesterday after ramming their car into several vehicles to evade police, have been remanded for four days until Tuesday.
Petaling Jaya police chief Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said the remand order against the duo was issued by the Petaling Jaya magistrates’ court today.
Bob Mah Sing, 40, was picked up at a house in Shah Alam about 11.45pm after fleeing the scene.
Nik Ezanee said the suspect, who is jobless, has 20 crime and drug records.
Both suspects – the other being 35 years old – tested positive for drugs, he said.
A video of police firing shots at the tyres of the car the duo were in, in a bid to prevent them from driving off, went viral yesterday. – Bernama, February 27, 2021
