KOTA KINABALU - Members of the Sabah state assembly took their oath of office before Speaker Datuk Kadzim M. Yahaya at the Sabah State Assembly building today.

Those not present for the swearing-in ceremony were Chief Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor, Datuk Dr Jaujan Bin Sambakong (Sulabayan), Datin Manis Buka Binti Mohd Darah (Bugaya), appointed assemblymen Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee and Datuk Amisah Yasin.

It is learned that Hajiji is currently on a two week voluntary self-quarantine due to one of his staff members having tested positive for Covid-19.

He did not attend the swearing-in at the State Istana of his five cabinet members and 18 assistant ministers yesterday. – The Vibes, October 9, 2020
