KOTA KINABALU - The two Warisan reps absent during the oath-taking ceremony on Friday have tested negative for Covid-19.

Datuk Jaujan Sambakong (Sulabayan) and Manis Muka Mohd Dara (Bugaya) were given the all-clear, after undergoing self-isolation at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital here.

However, Manis Muka remains warded after she was rushed to the hospital with breathing difficulties on Friday.

Here husband Datuk Sabardin Ombrah said: “We as a family (including Manis Muka) have undergone two Covid-19 tests which were found negative."

He added she will be warded until she shows signs of improvement.

Both Jaujan and Manis Muka were not cleared to take their oath, after having had their swab tests before the swearing-in ceremony.

Meanwhile, The Star reports that Jaujan’s son was also admitted to QEH.

The condition of Bersatu’s nominated assemblyman Datuk Amisah Yassin also remains unclear.
