KOTA KINABALU – Noorzain Tawi, a special officer to Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor, died yesterday, believed to be from Covid-19.

A video of his burial, handled by several people in full protective suits, has since circulated online.

In the clip, Hajiji is seen witnessing the funeral from afar.

A voice heard in the video said Noorzain, 60, is laid to rest at the Sekudung Muslim cemetery here.

Condolence messages filled the Tuaran Bersatu division committee member’s Facebook page.

Hajiji and his wife earlier tested positive for the coronavirus, but have since recovered. – The Vibes, October 25, 2020
