KUALA LUMPUR – Water levels for Sg Klang recorded at the Bandar Klang station and Sg Langat recorded at the RS Batu 8 station in Kuala Langat have surpassed dangerous levels as of 7.45am today, following an early downpour this morning.

According to the Selangor Irrigation and Drainage Department’s (DID) InfoBanjir website, water levels at the Bandar Klang station were recorded at 3.28m (dangerous) compared to the normal reading of 2.2m.

The RS Batu 8 station in Kuala Langat recorded water levels at 2.35m (dangerous) compared to a normal reading of 0.1m.

Meanwhile, three stations are currently at warning levels, namely Jeti Teluk Penyamun (Kuala Selangor), Pekan Beranang (Hulu Langat) and Kg Rantau Panjang (Klang).

Stations at Kg Salak Tinggi (Sepang), Kg Melayu Subang (Petaling) and Batu 9 (Hulu Langat) each recorded cautionary levels.

Meanwhile, the Klang land district office also reported the latest developments on the rising water levels via Facebook.
