KANGAR – Former Tambun Tulang assemblyman Datuk Ismail Kassim died at Selayang Hospital, Selangor today. He was 64. 

The news was shared by his brother Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim via a Facebook post. 

Shahidan said his youngest brother died at 2.45pm, believed to be from a heart attack.

Ismail was the Tambun Tulang assemblyman from 2013 until 2022. 

He had also been the Arau MP from 2008 until 2013. – Bernama, May 22, 2023
