Rusdi Isa is new deputy Penang police chief

KUALA LUMPUR – The appointment of Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa as the new Penang deputy police chief effective August 7 was announced yesterday.

Federal police secretary Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin in a statement said that Rusdi was previously deputy director for investigations and legal at the Bukit Aman criminal investigation department.

Following the appointment, Mohamad Usuf Jan Mohamad – principal assistant director for fraud and investment syndicate investigations at Bukit Aman’s commercial crime investigation department – was appointed to fill the vacancy left by Rusdi.

Usuf will start his duties in the new role on August 7, added Noorsiah. – Bernama, July 8, 2023
