Polling day: traffic flow as of 6.30pm still smooth

KUALA LUMPUR – Traffic flow as of 6.30 pm today on all the country’s main highways was still smooth and no unusual congestion has been reported in conjunction with the state elections in the six states. 

A spokesman for PLUS Malaysia Bhd said there were two accidents at KM40.1 southbound from Sedenak to Kulai and KM434 northbound from Sg Buaya to Bukit Beruntung but the traffic situation was under control and no lanes were blocked. 

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Malaysia Highway Authority said traffic flow on East Coast Highways 1 and 2 was smooth in both directions.
