PETALING JAYA – Several clips of a man berating another for allegedly parking in a spot reserved for ambulances have surfaced.

Following checks, the clips were traced to one Datuk Ken KH Foo on Facebook.

In the clips, Ken was the person lecturing the driver of a white Mazda 3 who had apparently taken the ambulance’s spot located outside a wellness centre.

Ken is the chairman of Seers Bhd and the company’s Facebook page had also shared Ken’s post on the parking drama.

According to Ken in his post, the same driver had parked at the same reserved spot several days ago.

He claimed that his staff had politely told the man that the spot was a 24-hour reserved lot which meant he could not park there.

“Without apologising, he just left,” Ken wrote.

Ken alleged that the same man returned yesterday morning and parked his car in the same spot.

It is understood that they lodged a report with the Petaling Jaya Municipal Council (MPPJ) which then issued a parking ticket to the driver of the white Mazda 3.

“At 5.33pm, he came back to collect the summons, then proceeded to go for ‘happy hour’ till 7.15pm and came back reeking of alcohol,” Ken said, also commenting that the man’s intention to drive after consuming alcohol was inconsiderate.

“This reserve parking is for Seers Ambulance to park, so that we can transport patients to do treatment or standby,” Ken stressed.

In the clips, an angry Ken was seen confronting the driver of the white Mazda 3 while speaking to the camera, much like a television show host telling viewers about the driver’s alleged wrongdoing.

At one point, the driver grabbed the camera and the clip cut off.

In the next clip, the driver was seen trying to reason with Ken but Ken told him: “Don’t wayang di sini.”

It is believed that this incident unfolded outside the Seers Wellness Centre in Jalan SS22/23, Damansara Jaya. – The Vibes, August 26, 2023
