KUALA LUMPUR – Sabah FC and Sri Pahang FC fought out a 1-1 draw in their Super League match at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan today.

Visitors Sabah took a 14th-minute lead when Daniel Ting thundered home a header off a cross from Kwang Min-ko, but Sri Pahang equalised in the 25th minute through a Kpah Sherman piledriver that beat Perak custodian Damien Chein Khai Lim.

Meanwhile, over at the Perak Stadium in Ipoh, Perak FC sealed their first victory in four matches when they defeated Kuching City FC 2-0, courtesy of a brace by South Korean Seo Seonung in the 41st and 58th minutes.

Penang FC, however, could not capitalise on their home ground advantage and went down 2-1 to Selangor FC at the City Stadium in George Town.

Selangor, under coach Tan Cheng Hoe, drew first blood through Colombian Ayron del Valle in the 27th minute.

Although Penang drew level through Rafael Vitor in the 87th minute, the Red Giants sealed victory two minutes later through their Jordan import, Noor Al-Rawabdeh. – Bernama, March 12, 2023
