KUALA LUMPUR – World number four Lee Zii Jia continued his winning streak at the 2023 All England Badminton Championships tonight as he cruised into the semifinal.

The 2021 edition champion crushed Japan’s Kodai Naraoka in rubber sets, 21-9, 10-21, 21-13 in 67 minutes.

It looked like he served his revenge against Naraoka, who had previously beaten him in the first round of the Malaysia Open in January.

“I do not want to think much at the moment.

“Mentally and physically I am still in an excited condition.

“I hope to maintain my excitement and motivation for tomorrow because I know it is going to be tougher,” Zii Jia said after the match.

After failing to succeed past the opening rounds in the last six consecutive tournaments, could this mean that he has found his rhythm?
