KUALA TERENGGANU – Terengganu Football Club Sdn Bhd (TFCSB) has quashed rumours on social media claiming that Terengganu FC (TFC) chief coach Tomislav Steinbruckner would be replaced.

TFCSB chief executive officer Ab Rasid Jusoh said the baseless rumours were spread by irresponsible parties.

“We regret that this fake news was being disseminated. For your information, the process of changing the coach needs to be carefully studied by the TFC technical committee members before it is implemented.

“TFCSB will not act hastily with regard to the team coach and players because they are the team’s main assets,” he said in a statement today.

Rasid said the fake news had somewhat affected ties between the team management and coaching line-up and disrupted the team’s preparations for the Super League, which will resume on May 19.
