ISTANBUL – At least six people were killed in an alleged knife attack on a kindergarten in China today.

The incident took place in Hengshan town of Lianjiang city in southern Guangdong province, Anadolu Agency said daily South China Morning Post reported.

Lianjiang’s Public Security Bureau called the attack an “intentional assault case” and said police have arrested a 25-year-old suspect surnamed Wu.

He is said to have used a knife in the attack.

Authorities said the incident happened around 7.40 am, it added. – Bernama, July 10, 2023
