Israeli airstrike kills Palestinian journalist, family in Gaza
A Palestine News and Information Agency (Wafa) news correspondent, Mohammad Abu Hasira, was killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted his home in Gaza City. GAZA – A Palestine News and Information Agency (Wafa) news correspondent, Mohammad Abu Hasira, was killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted his home in Gaza City.

The bombing also took the lives of 42 members of his family, including his sons and brothers, according to Wafa.

A few days earlier, another correspondent, Mohammad Hamouda, was injured alongside his family after an Israeli bombing targeted his home. 

The attack also seriously injured his wife, who lost her left eye, and caused his eldest son’s leg to be amputated.

At least 49 journalists in the Gaza Strip were killed in intensified attacks by Israeli forces on civilians in the besieged Palestinian territory since October 7. – Bernama-Wafa
