ASTRO TutorTV is launching its first ever live interactive edutainment show on Monday, March 22, 2021. ‘SMK Study Squad: LIVE’ builds on the hype of the existing ‘SMK Study Squad’ programme, which has reached more than 2.6 million viewers and is currently the highest rated academic IP in the country since its release in January 2021.

Audiences will have the opportunity to interact with celebrated cast members of SMK Study Squad and teachers including the likes of Wafiy, Erissa, Fikry, Aniq and up-and-coming teen stars Cik B and Zaki Yamani in real time during the Live Q&A Segment by submitting their questions through the Upped website (www.upped.com.my/smkstudysquad).

Upped is Astro’s complimentary online education portal which houses hundreds of education videos from various school syllabus-focused programmes such as TV Pendidikan, Misi Studi SPM, Pelan A+ SPM and other fun learning STEM programmes such as Dekoded and Stemsasi to help all Malaysian students revise effectively, for free.

SMK Study Squad cast members will then select randomly from the pool of submitted questions to be answered by experienced teachers Cikgu Ilmi, Cikgu Suma, and Sir Syahmi, who collectively have 32 years of teaching experience and are credible experts in their individual subject areas, during the live show.

Besides that, noteworthy exam tips and tricks will be shared with students during the live show to aid them in catching up with their studies. The programme will cover three primary subjects: Mathematics, Science, and History.

In the Quiz Battle Segment, watch as SMK Study Squad stars battle it out in quiz questions style in the second half of the programme. Students will also get the chance to challenge themselves and others to do similar quizzes available on the Upped website.

What’s more, they will also get to share their scores online with their friends and family! Rest at ease parents, as you will be able to better monitor your child’s  progress and achievements through their quiz scores.

Intended to drive easy, fun learning at its core and optimise knowledge retention among students, SMK Study Squad: LIVE is scheduled to run for three days from March 22 to 24 at 3pm on Tutor TV Channel 602 and will be available to watch on TV, Astro Go and On Demand.
