KUALA LUMPUR – Tony Iskandar, former bassist in pop-rock band Spider died today. He was 50.

The news of his passing was shared by his friend, guitarist of the group Exists, Azhrul Nasir or Along on his Facebook page at about 3am.

It is understood that Tony died at the Luncai Emas Sdn Bhd recording studio owned by singer and composer Datuk M. Nasir in Sungai Buloh.

Other members of the band are Tam (vocalist), Nafie (guitarist), Aie (guitarist).
