ONE of the world’s top food service companies, Unilever Food Solutions recently developed the UFS Future Menu Trends Report 2024, comprising eight actionable global trends that are set to future-proof restaurants and the food service industry.

The Future Menu Trends 2024 report was compiled from robust global data and insights from chefs worldwide to provide practical solutions for food service operators of all sizes, encompassing trends such as local abundance, modernised comfort food and new sharing.

UFS will be bringing their findings of the Future Menu Trends to life at the Worldchefs Congress and Expo 2024 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore on October 21, 2024.

According to UFS Executive Chef (Singapore, Vietnam, and Cambodia) Eric Chua, there is so much more to learn about what worked in the past and what needs to be done now for a better tomorrow.

"We invite chefs to partake in the flavours of tomorrow and chip into the melting pot of infinite possibilities," he said.

Among the eight actionable global trends are low-waste menus: maximising creativity, modernised comfort food: adventurous and satisfying; and plant-powered protein: veggie protein heroes.
