A VIDEO showing how a split second of recklessness could result in potential disaster.

In the video, which is less than a minute, a man, believed to be the father, is seen doing something in his car with the house gate open.

Probably unknown to him, his little child is also outside with him and begins walking away.

The man then walks back into the house, oblivious that the child had wandered away, and locks the gate.

The child is seen walking down the pathway as the video ends.

The video was recorded overseas with a clear message for parents to always be alert, especially with little children around. - May 30, 2026
