KUALA LUMPUR – A warning of heavy rain has been issued in several states over the next two days.

In a statement, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) said such weather can be experienced up to December 19 in Kelantan, Terengganu, and the districts of Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Bera, Pekan and Rompin in Pahang.

The Mersing and Kota Tinggi districts in Johor are also expected to experience similar weather up to tomorrow, it said.

MetMalaysia said heavy rain is also expected tomorrow and Saturday in Lahad Datu, Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran and Sandakan in Sabah. – Bernama, December 17, 2020
