He left his home in Felda Kemelah at 5.15am for SK Jementah but has not returned since.- February 24, 2025

THE disappearance of the Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Jementah teacher, Hamdan Hamzah, since last Monday, remains a mystery until now.

Police and villagers are yet to find any clues despite various efforts made to locate the 46-year-old teacher since the report of his disappearance was made last Wednesday.

According to reports, Segamat police chief Ahmad Zamry Marinsah, said efforts to locate the teacher involved were also made through his acquaintances, but so far there has been no progress.

A neighbour, Junaidah Samsudin, 60, said she and the residents of Felda Kemelah only learned about the disappearance of teacher Hamdan after it went viral on social media.

She said the residents of Felda Kemelah have also helped search for him, including tracing the usual routes taken to school.

Hamdan was reported missing after leaving home on his motorcycle to go to work at SK Jementah last Monday, Feb 17.

He left his home in Felda Kemelah at 5.15am for SK Jementah but has not returned since.

His family lodged a police report at the Tenang police station on Wednesday, Feb 19. – February 24, 2025
